Join CUPE: The first step to building power to win improvements you want to see in your workplace is to sign a CUPE Union card. Visit the CHOOSE WORKPLACE tab to see our active campaigns – select your workplace to sign a card.
Once a majority of child care workers at your workplace sign a membership card, CUPE will submit an application to the Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB). Within 1 week, the OLRB will hold a vote. When the majority of workers who cast ballots vote YES, you will become unionized.
