All across Ontario, child care workers are getting organized and ready to fight for fair wages and working conditions. The power that comes from a union is the best way to advance child care workers’ needs on the job. A union also means that we are able to advocate for the best services possible, connecting the needs and priorities of workers, children, and their families, alike.

When We Organize, We Win
These are just some of the victories that child care workers have benefitted from in the recent past. Remember, a union is as powerful as its engaged, coordinated membership. The best way to show employers that we are strong and united is by demonstrating our solidarity with one another at the workplace.
Unionizing with CUPE formalizes this structure, giving us the tools to fight for what we deserve.
